Will I bruise or swell after lip fillers treatment?
It’s a possibility as with any injectable treatment a needle entering skin will cause trauma and your bodies natural response is to swell, this usually subsides after a couple of days.
You might not bruise at all, you might bruise a little, or you might bruise badly.
Generally, a bruise will last around 3-5 days, but please allow up to 2 weeks for bruising and swelling post filler and I advise not to have treatment within 2 to 4 weeks prior to a special event, due to this risk.
This is the risk when having any injectables… but the end result is so worth it.
